ABCC Token (AT) is an ERC20 Token issued by the ABCC Digital Asset Exchange. The total supply of AT is fixed at 210 million with no plans for any future offering. As part of the platform’s user incentives, holders of AT are offered a range of benefits.
Members holding AT can avail of various products and services on the ABCC platform. These include purchasing other digital assets, paying transaction fees, and gaining preferential access to premium services. Additionally, members with AT can participate in various activities and campaigns on ABCC, including community building, suggesting improvements to ABCC, and others. ABCC rewards members holding AT with a significant share of the trading commissions collected on the platform.
The initial allocation of AT is divided into various categories. In order to encourage users to trade on the ABCC platform, 50% of the total supply of AT is rewarded to users. Out of this percentage, 40% of the total supply is used to reward members who trade on the exchange platform via the “Trade-to-Mine” (ToM) mechanism. The remaining 10% is granted to users who traded prior to the issuance of AT.
The Trade-to-Mine (ToM) mechanism is a unique system aimed at rewarding members who trade on the ABCC platform. Akin to Bitcoin's mining model, this inflation model for AT includes two steps, namely "release" and "distribution". The release of AT follows a half-life decay pattern, with 6 half-life periods in total each lasting approximately 4 months. This means half of the total supply of AT is released in the first 120 days with the number of AT to be released in the following half-life period being halved and so forth.
The distribution model entails issuing AT released in a block to members per the percentage of their trading fees within that block. If no members are eligible for the rewards in a certain block, the released AT assigned to that block is distributed in the next block.
As of now, there are 45.7M ABCC Tokens (AT) in circulation. This is out of a total supply of 210 Million AT.
